May is the month we commemorate Memorial Day. Most people think of backyard barbecues, pool parties and days at the lake, but that is not what Memorial Day is all about. Six years ago, this national amnesia about what used to be called “Decoration Day” was too much for two battle-hardened Navy Seals, Stephen Holley and Clint Bruce. Losing friends in combat was always on their minds, and seeing how most Americans seemed to have forgotten the ultimate sacrifices they made, Holley and Bruce decided to do something about it.
