It’s hard to believe tomorrow marks 20 years since 911. I think we all remember exactly where we were and what we were doing at the time. It will be forever engrained in our memories. There are several events happening in DFW to honor the victims of 911. See more.

Tomorrow marks the 20th anniversary of a day Americans will never forget. As we remember and reflect on that horrific moment in time there are several remembrances across DFW. The Dallas Symphony Orchestra will host a Remembrance Concert Saturday night at the Meyerson Symphony Center. Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Carry The Load.

Special observances across North Texas mark the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. Events commemorating Sept. 11, designated as Patriot Day, this year include flag displays, speakers, music and other remembrances of the 9/11 victims and tributes to first responders and the U.S. military. WASHINGTON, D.C.— In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks against the U.S., the Department of Veterans Affairs will host several tributes throughout its enterprise to recognize loved ones lost, loved ones injured and those forever changed by the tragic events. This weekend around Dallas is absolutely overflowing with big-name singers and local theater. There are no fewer than five concerts featuring well-known singers taking place on either Friday or Saturday, and five local theater companies will debut new productions, including two from Dallas Theater Center. Add in an arts festival, a horror convention, and a 9/11 remembrance concert, and this weekend is stuffed to the gills.
