Carry the Load to walk through Austin ahead of Memorial Day on May 23-24
A nonprofit honoring fallen military and first responders will pass through Austin on May 23-24 as part of its cross-country movement, officials announced in a news release May 20.

(Austin, TX) FOX7 - A gathering spot of more than one-thousand people with sneakers, flags, kids and pets isn't the typical forum to share grief.
But then again, there is nothing typical about Carry The Load, which culminated over a month of rallies in cities across the country with the Dallas Memorial March on Sunday.
