Employees of the Adairsville Lowe’s Distribution Center participated in an awareness walk for the organization Carry The Load Wednesday from Friendship Baptist Church in Cartersville to the Tom B. David Airport in Calhoun.
DALLAS, Texas (KTHV) – In an ongoing effort to connect Americans to the sacrifices made daily by our military, law enforcement, firefighters, rescue personnel and their families, Carry the Load kicked off its Memorial May campaign and will make several stops in the Natural State.
WESTFIELD, Ind.–Last year on Memorial Day, Ronald Russell carried a 44 lb. backpack on a 22 mile walk. He did it not only to honor veterans, police officers and firefighters, but to experience a bit of the pain those people have gone through. He’s doing it again this year, and he’s inviting you along.
